Urban – Rural Development Organization Uganda (URUDO-Uganda) is a community-based, non-profit organization founded in 2009 and registered in 2010 with Lyantonde District Local Government. We exist to narrow the development gap between urban and rural communities.
We collaborate with government and the private sector to reduce poverty and HIV/AIDS, improve waste management, and deliver integrated programs in sustainable agriculture, girls’ education, youth vocational skills, and equitable resource distribution. We currently operate in Lyantonde and Mbarara Districts.
